Leadership Algona Class
Leadership Algona Class of 2022/2023 is working towards the goal of bringing a new, eye-pleasing, and artistically designed structure to the very busy corner of Jones and State Streets in Algona. The new structure will not only draw the attention of the thousands of cars and pedestrians who pass this corner, but will bring pride to Algona and become a landmark for our community for years to come.
The Leadership Class has organized three large community fundraising events and a few small fundraising efforts to bring in $8000 of donated funds to put towards their project. The class is now reaching out to the community with a fundraising campaign to help cover the remaining costs of approximately $45,000.
With all of the quotes received from contractors and vendors for this project, the total cost to complete this project is an estimated $54,250.
The project is planned to be done in three different phases as funds are available. All work is being done by local businesses.
