Join us as part of the Weekly Chamber Coffee on Friday, May 29 for a special celebration honoring Evelyn Ruhnke of Algona, whose incredible artistic talent continues to inspire our community.

For almost a century, Evelyn has been creating beautiful works of art using carefully gathered, dried, and arranged flower petals and leaves, which she meticulously glues onto fiber board and frames into stunning natural collages. Each piece reflects her deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and the world around us.

Evelyn continues to create these unique works of art, occasionally selling them at area farmers markets and art shows. She also thoughtfully preserves memories for families by turning flowers from funeral bouquets into meaningful dried-flower keepsakes.

Her artwork is a true reflection of patience, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the beauty of God’s creation.
