25th Annual Founders’ Day Celebration
Events:
- Heritage Award Presentation at Riverview Cemetery
- “Voices from the Past” presentation
- Kossuth County Speedway Dirt Track Racing, Kossuth County Fairgrounds
- POW Museum open.
- Free Children’s Movies at State 5 Theatre
- Kossuth County Historical Society open
- Shriner's Cruise-In: State Street, Downtown Algona.
- Walk on Thorington Tours
- Parade
- Pork Tornados live music performance on Stagemobile, downtown Algona
- Exercise for the Heart Volleyball Tournament
- Art in the Park - NOTE: Just 'Cause will NOT be performing 1 - 3 p.m. on Sat., July 13
- FREE Kid’s Bash!!!
- World Food Festival with musical entertainment
- Showboat Open Golf Tournament at River Road Golf Club
