DESCRIPTION:Come hangout with the "real superheroes" during the August 7th Party in the Park event! \n\n	The final Party in the Park for summer 2024 will be on August 7th from 5:30   7:30 p.m. in the Carnegie lawn with the theme "It's a MARVELous Day!" \n	Superhero costume wearing is highly encouraged and recommended! \n	Event will feature some of the "real" heroes of our community\, such as Iowa National Guard\, Moving Veterans Forward\, and local veterans\n	\n		If you know of any groups or organizations who would like to be featured and participate at the event\, please contact the Chamber\n		Invite all veterans to attend and be recognized during the event \n	\n	\n	Algona Library will be bringing a fun activity\, as well as Scooters Coffee and PMC Advantage with games and giveaways \n	Cub Scouts will be having their Pinewood Derby races \n	Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the musical talents of "Homegrown Harmonies" \n	Don't forget about all the free sweet treats from local organizations   sugar cookie decorating\, popcorn\, nachos\, and freeze pops! \n\n\n\nThere will be a variety of kid and family friendly activities including giant yard games\, sidewalk chalk\, and more. \n\n\n	Food will be available to purchase from local businesses\n\nWatch these videos from the June and July Party in the Park events to see all the fun:\n\nJune Party in the Park: https://youtu.be/hUTQn8ndCZE?si=_bTnRStEFkB3hton\n\nJuly Party in the Park: https://youtu.be/GOG--We7f_k?si=p2IeU7d7nzhbyd6K
