- Algona Raceway - dirt track races, every Saturday (weather permitting) with hot
laps starting at 6:30 pm
- Veteran's Park Speedway - Radio Controlled Racing, Sat July 10 – Weekly
Race, Saturday July 24 – Cornbelt Series
- Algona Aquatic Center - Open swim daily 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm, adult lap swim
Mon-Fri, 7:00 am – Noon.
- Farmers Market - Saturday’s 9:00 am – 11:00 am May 22 through October 16;
Wednesday’s 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm July 7 – September 29. Located at the corner of
Dodge & Nebraska.
- Weekly Bike Rides – Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, leaving 7:00 pm from
Innovations parking lot. 3 or 15 mile routes. Beginners welcome (wear a
helmet!). Also Thursday mornings, leaving 6:00 am from YMCA, 15 mile route.
